What is provided with on-site child care?

We provide the equipment, toys, qualified child care staff, and fun activities.

What kind of space do I need for you to provide child care?

We can 'pop-up' anywhere – indoors or outdoors. The space will determine the number of children that we can provide care to.

How soon in advance do I need to book?

We appreciate as much notice as possible and require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.

What age groups do you look after?

We care for children from 16 months up to school age.

What are the hours you provide care? How long can a child be in the Pop-up?

Our service is available 7 days a week, anytime during the day. A child must only be in care for a maximum of 4 hours. There must be a break time with a parent if care is required all-day.

What kind of qualifications and screening do the child care staff have?

All our Staff have a minimum of the Responsible Adult Training and have passed a criminal record check. Many of our staff have their full Early Childhood Eductation (ECE) and valid First Aid Certificate.

What are the parents’ responsibilities while their children are in care with Pop-up Child Care?

The parents must stay in the same building as the children. Parents must provide their child with a break every 4 hours. If a child is in need of toileting/diaper change or medical attention, a parent may be asked to assist our staff.

How much does it cost?

Our solutions are customized for every event and company. To get a quote submit a 'Request to Book'.

What is the difference between a childminder/babysitter and an Early Childhood Educator?

Childminders/babysitters are only responsible for the physical and emotional well-being of the child in their care, rather than their overall development. Our Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) are teachers certified by a post secondary institution. They specialize in working with young children, from toddlers to children of up to six years of age. They provide nursing and instruction in basic aspects of formal education, and look at the different aspects of child development, health, nutrition, behaviour guidance in accordance with the Early Learning Framework.
