Pop-Up Child Care is a social enterprise created to provide affordable group child care solutions to businesses and organizations across Vancouver and the greater area.

Our mission

To create a safe and friendly environment for children and foster an atmosphere of harmony, trust, friendship, and warmth that encourages them to learn as individuals;

  • Provide affordable child care solutions to businesses and organizations;

  • Support and guide newcomer women through professional educational development and an environment that promotes teamwork, integrity, respect, and a living wage.

Our story

Pop-Up Child Care is a social enterprise created by Pacific Immigrant Resource Society (PIRS), an immigrant and refugee services agency, in collaboration with Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Through this project, PIRS supports newcomer women in the field of Early Childhood Education through training and employment opportunities.
